Visiting Perth Airport over the past 24hours were 3 different aircraft types: AP-3C Orion 'unidentified' certaintly are rare one to visit YPPH; secondly a C-130H Hercules A97-011 & lastly a C-17A Globemaster III A41-206. (See Photo above, which coincidently last visited back on 16.08.10. All aircraft have now since departed.
Hifly A340-313X CS-TQM msn 117 arrived into Perth this afternoon at 14.59hrs to ITB bay 56 ex: Brisbane & Sydney operating as flight 'ASY037' on behalf of the Australian Defence Force. The aircraft painted all white with no markings departed Perth at 16.29hrs bound for Al Minhad AFB, (OMDM) United Arab Emirates. 
Pacific Blue B737-8FE (W) VH-VUF msn 34168 diverted to Singapore from Phuket today whilst operating flight VOZ4148 which operates Phuket to Perth; reasons for the diversion into Singapore are unclear however the aircraft in question can be seen here (above) landing RWY 03 at Perth at 13.10hrs.
V Australia B777-3ZG (ER) aircraft are being noted over flying Perth en-route from OMAA- YSSY, these over OTT flights usually cross over the West Australian coastline between the times of 01.00 to 01.30hrs on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Seen above landing RWY 03 at 13.38hrs today was Our Airline B737-3YO VH-INU msn 23684, returning to Perth from Singapore where the aircraft was chartered for the Australian 'Boombers' basketball team. This return flight 'RON901' after clearing customs & a refuel then departed at 15.17hrs as flight 'RON920' to Brisbane. 
Qantas B747-438 VH-OJH msn 24806 arrived 13.13hrs ex: Sydney operating today's QF63 service to South Africa via Perth & departed at 14.44hrs continuing the journey. Great seeing the 'Golf Buggy' make a returning visit to Perth, a long time between visits!
Seen here arriving into Perth Airport today is Qantas B747-438 VH-OJT msn 25565, this service operating from Sydney via Perth to Johannesburg, South Africa as a precautionary measure due to the on going volcanic ash cloud circling around in the upper layers of the southern hemisphere. For the record this aircraft arrived at 13.02hrs & departed at 14.37hrs.

Qantas Airways commenced Airbus A330 services from Perth to Brisbane today, replacing the older Boeing 767-300 series used on this route. Today's QF650 /597 services was operated by A330-202 VH-EBM msn 1061 departed at 07.59hrs & returned later same day at 18.29hrs.
Perth Airport is continuing to see these 'Queen's of the skies' visit the West Coast of Australia as the Chile's Mt. Cordon Caulle volcano continues to disrupts airline's flights not only here in Australia but around the world also.

Malaysia Airlines will begin flying its new A330-300 aircraft from Kuala Lumpur next month (July), as well as stylished new interiors, the aircraft has bigger overhead compartments, noise cancellation headsets & mood lighting to relax and wake up passengers. The number of seats has been reduced from 297 to 283, 36 of which are business class, resulting in more legroom. The new A330s has seat back smart screens with audio and video on demand, with USB ports and three pin plugs to recharg laptops. The new aircraft are part of an overall renewal of Malaysia Airlines fleet.
