Visiting Perth Airport over the past 24hours were 3 different aircraft types: AP-3C Orion 'unidentified' certaintly are rare one to visit YPPH; secondly a C-130H Hercules A97-011 & lastly a C-17A Globemaster III A41-206. (See Photo above, which coincidently last visited back on 16.08.10. All aircraft have now since departed.

Hifly A340-313X CS-TQM msn 117 arrived into Perth this afternoon at 14.59hrs to ITB bay 56 ex: Brisbane & Sydney operating as flight 'ASY037' on behalf of the Australian Defence Force. The aircraft painted all white with no markings departed Perth at 16.29hrs bound for Al Minhad AFB, (OMDM) United Arab Emirates.
Update: 29/06: The aircraft was noted returning to Australia via Darwin from (OMDM) this evening 29th June 2011, then continued on her "all stops" flight to Townsville (YBTL) before concluding back at Sydney Airport later same day.

This return flight 'RON901' after clearing customs & a refuel then departed at 15.17hrs as flight 'RON920' to Brisbane.
The 'Boombers' played 2 games against China in the inaugural Youyi Games the first of which was played in Perth on 24/06; the Boombers winning 67 points to 65; Game #2 in played in Singapore on 27/06 went the Aussies way again winning 62 points to 57. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Yoi, Yoi, Yoi......

Singapore Airlines Cargo B747-412F (SCD) 9V-SFF msn 28026 seen here (above) arriving ex: Sydney as flight SQC7292 at 09.44hrs today, to collect stage & lighting equipment associated with Kylie Minogue's 'Aphrodite Les Folies World Tour' which was staged at Burswood Casino on Wednesday evening 22nd June.
The aircraft was originally scheduled to depart at 11.55hrs today for Singapore, however this subsequently changed to a 13.20hrs departure which never eventuated.
The aircraft finally departed at 03.23hrs 24/06 bound for Singapore as flight SQC7291, then onto Bangkok where Kylie's next performance apart of her world tour plays out over this weekend.

Royal Brunei Airlines suspends Perth from 29th October 2011
Royal Brunei Airlines commenced services to Perth from Bandar Seri Bagwan on 29th January 1991with the inugural service operated by B757-2M6 V8-RBB msn 23453.
On July 3rd 1992 services were upgraded to B762 service, with V8-RBD operating this service.
October 29th 2000, saw the airline increase services to three times per week.
On February 25th 2004, the airlines first A320 visited Perth, V8-RBS was the aircraft, with Airbus A319 arriving a month later on March 3rd, on this occassion operapted by V8-RBP.
The airlines first B772 visited Perth on 9th October 2010, when V8-BLB msn 30872 ex: 9V-SVG visited for the first time.
Its with great disappointment to report to you all that effective 29th October 2011, Royal Brunei Airlines services to Perth, Western Australia will come to an end.
Auckland, Brisbane, Kuching, and Ho Chi Minh destinations have also been withdrawn, with Royal Brunei services only to Melbourne with a 4 times weekly service, but is always subject to change.

the aircraft was towed across from the domestic terminal to a stand off bay on the international terminal apron whilst the aircraft awaits maintaince before re-entering service.

Malaysia Airlines will begin flying its new A330-300 aircraft from Kuala Lumpur next month (July), as well as stylished new interiors, the aircraft has bigger overhead compartments, noise cancellation headsets & mood lighting to relax and wake up passengers. The number of seats has been reduced from 297 to 283, 36 of which are business class, resulting in more legroom. The new A330s has seat back smart screens with audio and video on demand, with USB ports and three pin plugs to recharg laptops. The new aircraft are part of an overall renewal of Malaysia Airlines fleet.
