In memory of Malaysia Airlines (2014-2023):

Boeing 777-2H6 (ER) 9M-MRO c/n 28420 was carrying 227 passengers and a crew of 12- The flight manifest includes 14 nationalities. Two-thirds of the passengers were Chinese- Veteran pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah headed an all-Malaysian crew- Seven people from Australia were on board: Rodney and Mary Burrows; Catherine and Robert Lawton; Li Yuan; Gu Naijun; and New Zealander Paul Weeks.

The 11-year-old Boeing, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent engines, took off at 12:40 a.m. (1640 GMT Friday) from Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 8th March 2014, and was apparently flying in good weather conditions when it went missing without a distress call.

 

Malaysia Airlines B777-2H6 (ER) 9M-MRO’s last visit to Perth was on Sunday 8^th January 2012, when the aircraft operated the ‘MH127/126’ services from / to Kuala Lumpur.
