Historic 1st ever visit to Australia Antonov An-225 Myria UR-82060, Sunday 15th to Tues 16th 2016

Its with much excitement & anticipation that today we welcome into Perth, Western Australia Antonov Airlines An-225 Myria UR-82060 making her debut visit to Australia.

After many tireless hours of planning & preparations, today's arrival into Perth climax's to be the biggest event Perth Airport have ever seen, surpassing previous big events such as the first arrival into Perth by a Boeing 747-238B of Qantas Airways on 3rd Sept 1971, Concorde's maiden visit into Perth on 14th Feb 1985,and first visit into Perth of an  Airbus A380 visit was on the 13th October 2008.

The Journey to Perth, Western Australia commenced on 10th May, when the aircraft departed Gostomel Intl Airport (UKKM/GML) Ukraine repositioning to Ruznye Intl Airport (LKPR/PRG) Prague, Czec Republic as Flight No: ADB310F to uplift her cargo a 117 tonne Brush Electric Generator for Perth resource company Worsley Alumina.

Turkmenbashi Intl Airport (UTAK/KRW) Turkmenistan ;Rajiv Gandhi Intl Airport (VOHS/HYD) India ; Kuala Lumpur Intl Airport (WMKK/KUL) Malaysia

The last leg of the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Perth saw the aircraft's departure delayed for some 71mins due to extensive ATC delays in Kuala Lumpur.

The An-225 departed KLIA at 06.10hrs (LT) and arrived into Perth Airport, landing RWY21 at 11.52hrs (as seen here below) after a flight time of 5hrs.41mins.

The An-225 UR-82060 departed Perth Intl Airport (YPPH/PER) at 21.59UTC/05.59hrs (WST+8) from RWY03 (as seen here above) to Al Maktoum Intl (Dubai World City) Airport (OMDW/DWC) Dubai, United Arab Emirates as flight 'ADB3655', arrived at 14.03hrs (GST) after a flight time of 12hrs.04mins. Hexcode:508035 

Beyond Dubai, the Myria is flight planned to Malpensa Intl Airport (LIMC/MXP) Italy as flight 'ADB3655' also,from Italy the aircraft's next stop is onto Leipzig/Halle Intl Airport (EDDP/LEJ) Germany as flight 'ADB3656' beyond this point the aircraft then continues onto

Cairo Intl Airport (HECA/CAI) Cairo, Egypt before finally ending in  Abu Dhabi Intl Airport (OMAA/AUH) UAE as same.
