Qantas Airways A330-203 VH-EBS c/n 1258 operating 'QF38' Singapore – Melbourne (depart Singapore 26th January) was delayed by five hours out of Singapore and departed at 04.52hrs (LT) As crew did not have sufficient hours to reach Melbourne the service operated via Perth where it landed at 09.30hrs landing RWY21 & in Perth a crew change was made.
