Qatar Airways B777-2DZ (LR) A7-BBI msn 41061 'as seen here above' arriving into Perth Intl Airport's ITB Bay 53 after completion of her inaugural service into Perth, Western Australia.

Flight QR900 departed from Doha Intl Airport UAE at 01.19hrs (AST) and landed in Perth on RWY 03 at 16.55hrs LT after a 10hrs.45min flight, taxied to the International Terminal, without the traditional 'water cannon salute' from the airport's fire services and stopped at the gate at 17.00hrs LT exactly.

Today's inaugural service carried 259 inbound passengers on board, including the airline's CEO Akbar Al Baker together with many other dignitaries.

A welcoming cocktail party was later hosted on the ground floor level of Perth Airport's Intl terminal.

Tommorrow: Wed 4th July, at Perth's Hyatt Regency Hotel an exclusive VIP  function will be hosted for up to 150 invited guests.
