Qantaslink B717-2K9 VH-NXI msn 55054 suffered an engine problem soon after take off from Newman Airport (YNWN/ZNE) yesterday operating flight QF1825 to Perth. The aircraft had previously operated Perth to Newman as QF1824 without incident. This aircraft had a similiar problem last year in which the engine was changed at Perth...seems to be dogged with engine problems & is still on the ground at Newman Airport. Hexcode: 7C4514

Hexcode: 7C7BC2 For the record - VH-YQC last noted flight in WA operated on 17th September 2011 as flight 'AGC201' from Perth to Bali.

A320-231 VH-FNP reurns from 'A' check & oopps!

Skywest Airlines Airbus A320-231 VH-FNP msn 0429 arrived 15.38hrs ex: Melbourne Airport (YMML) as flight 'OZW800'. The aircraft had earlier departed Perth for Melbourne on 13th September as flight 'OZW802' for maintaince for an O/Speed fault & 'A' check. The aircraft was subsequently slightly damaged after the aircraft was hit by a set of entry stairs & had an intake cowl damaged. Hexcode: 7C1B33.
