Qatar Airways have brought forward their start up date to link direct services between Abu Dhabi & Perth, the new services to Perth as set to begin on 3rd July 2012.Qatar will operate 3 services initially using Airbus A330-200 series aircraft three times weekly operating on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday between Doha & Perth. Services then going daily from 28th October 2012 with a changing of aircraft type upgrading to Boeing 777-2DZ (LR)aircraft, of which the airline operates 9 of this type.
The new routing opens up new destination possibilities for Perth travellers to new destinations within europe; & one stop flights into North & South America.
