RAAF C-17A Globemaster III A41-210 msn AUS-5 arrived 11.35hrs ex: RAAF Amberley (YAMB) as flight 'ASY405' landing RWY 24 to ITB bay 56 & departed at 14.46hrs to Diego Garcia (FJDG) as same. Hexcode: 7CF922 (1st time visit into Perth Airport) Note: It is reported elsewhere on the internet where this aircraft had previously visited Perth on 2nd October 2011, this is incorrect with the aircraft in question actually arriving & departing into RAAF Pearce in preparation for the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings, and in addition the callsign used is 'ASY' & NOT 'AUSY' as they quote.
