The funeral service for the late Michael Brett Dawson was held in Dunedin, New Zealand today at 10.00hrs (NZST) and was live streamed around the world.
Michael passed away on Saturday 14th May 2023 at Otago Community Hospice aged 50 years after a battle with Bowl Cancer.
Michael will always be remembered by those of us in the Australian aviation community who knew him, as a generous, reliable, helpful person who enjoyed life, helping others and his passion for aircraft & photography.
I would like to share a few screen shots from the live stream service this morning, with many of family & friends travelling to New Zealand for the funeral, including long term friend Craig Hamilton.
Michael your final flight, has now departed, God speed my friend & rest in peace.
