Cobham Aviation Service's new Dash-8-402Q OE-IIP c/n 4539 (seen here above) arriving on delivery to Cobham Aviation Services ex: Germany with stops en-route: Crete, Cairo, Abu Dhabi, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia & Broome Airport.
Today's last leg of the delivery flight departed ex: Bali's Ngurah Rai Intl Airport at 08.03hrs (LT) & arrived into Broome Intl Airport at 10.12hrs (LT) after a flight time of 2hrs.09mins.
The aircraft departed Broome for Perth at 11.17hrs (LT) & landed (as seen here above) on Perth Airport's RWY03 at 14.22hrs after a flight time of 3hrs.05mins. The aircraft will become VH-IYJ. Hexcode: 440415
The shine would have been taken off the arrival of course, with their RJ85 VH-NJW careering into the front of the terminal, apparently some brake issue. Thankfully no injuries to 62 pax or 4 crew.
ReplyDeleteCOBHAM will now have to find a replacement quickly to fulfil its contracts, SKIPPERS might be chartered to assist, time will tell.
