His Excellency Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeister, President of the Federal Republic of Germany & his wife, Ms Elke Büdenbender, State visit to Australia from 3rd to 5th November. This is the first visit by a German President to Australia since 2001.

opened the ' Australia Germany Asia-Pacific Regional Conference in Perth - an event focused on expanding trade and investment between Australia, Germany and the Asia Pacific region at a special function in Perth this evening.
