The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) coordinating the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, suspended searching the Southern Indian Ocean today  due to bad weather. 

 

PLAAF IL-76TD 20541 msn 0083486570 seen here parked up on ITB Bay 56 at Perth Intl Airport just after sunrise today.  She was preparing for an early morning departure today when AMSA notified that due to the deteriorating weather that all flights are suspended until further notice.

 

AMSA said in a statement that conducting the search in such conditions would be hazardous and pose a risk to crews.
