Virgin Australia and South African Airways have entered into a code-share partnership. SA will place its code on VA operated flights from PER to ADL/MEL/BNE in connection with SA's daily JNB-PER services. The code-share will not apply at this time to VA's PER-SYD given the current code-share in place with QF's daily non-stop SYD-JNB. Looks like a strategic preemptive move by SA in the event that QF decides to terminate its services to JNB as is presently rumoured.
