Airwork (NZ) Ltd B737-377 ZK-SLA msn 23653 departed Auckland (NZAA) at 10.50hrs (NZST) as flight 'AWK737' arriving into Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport (YMML) at 12.57hrs (AEST) after a 4hrs.07mins flight across the Tasman.

After a quick refueling tech stop the aircraft then departed Melbourne at 14.12hrs (AEST) bound for Perth arriving at 16.12hrs (as seen here above) after another 4.00hrs journey across the continent contiuing to operate as flight  'AWK737'.

This aircraft set to being used on the lucrative Fly in / Fly out mining flights linking Perth to Port Hedland, replace the Alliance Airlines B737-476 ZK-JTQ msn 24442 (as seen above) which has previously operated these flights since February 2012.
