Polytechnic West opened its doors yesterday, Friday August 31st 2012 to the public for its annual 'Open Day', visitors were treated to an overview of their 38 year old Boeing 737-229 (Adv) N732HV msn 21137 / 421 ex: (OO-SDM, G-CEAD, VH-OBN ex: Ozjet Airlines). The aircraft is in remarkable condition considering its age, with the aircraft's cabin interior now limited to just under 2 dozen seats, its powered by both GPU outside hangar and also 240V power supply. All the hydraulic fluid still in flaps, spoilers still all operational. The aircraft's APU to be refitted into the aircraft with the coming weeks. A great night out considering the weather.
