Omega Tanker B707-368C N707MQ msn 21368 "seen here above" on short finals into Perth Airport's RWY 21 this afternoon at 15.55hrs arriving ex: YBAS as 'OMEGA 71' used to in-flight refuel FA/18s returning back to YPEA after a jolly. The Hornets were noted as; Buck 1-9, Barn 18; Maple 16 and 18; Falc 18.
I saw this,I was in the qantas club waiting for my flight out of Perth and saw 4 long smokey trails from something turning onto finals. And in she chugged - quite a lot of pitch up/down movements at the threshold - reminded me of how a B52 lands - but great to see, makes a change from boring 737 and 767s..
