Indonesian carrier Batavia Air announced this week its intention to operate daily services between Bali & Perth using Airbus A319-132 aircraft commencing on 26th August 2010.
Batavia Air becomes the fourth Indonesian airline to operate the route after: Air Paradise International, Sempati Air, Merpati Nusantra Airlines, & Garuda Indonesia who continue to operate this popular route against fierce competition from Jetstar, Stategic Air, Pacific Blue,
& Air Asia Indonesia all offering competitive deals & incentives to lure customers.
The Federal Election 2010 roadshow also hit town this week with PM Julia Gillard visiting
the west coast to woo the public, her entourage & following media were travelling in two aircraft:
